Snow and socks

We had one hour of snow this morning before it turned to rain:

I made socks this weekend. The big one is for my dad. The small one is for Liam:

I made another pair of socks over Christmas, but those are wrapped up and will go in the mail this week.

I have yet another pair on needles right now, and those, when they are done, will go in the mail, too.

Also, sorry I am so boring lately. Work has started and as I mentioned yesterday (sort of), I am not feeling like myself. Perhaps later I will publish the Grip post.

You don't need to apologize for being boring especially since I can't imagine that ever being true. I hope you feel like yourself again soon.

Are you a speed knitter, one of those people whose fingers fly, sorta the equivalent of the speed reader who do do War & Peace in an hour or so?

whoa... what a view!!! i don't think you're boring at all... you can't sustain edge-of-your-seat-suspense or laughing-your-ass-off all the time... you gotta give us a little break once in awhile!! this is the natural "winter"...the cycles and seasons of blogging. (rolling eyes at my cheesiness...)

Em, little did I know I would have a catastrophic computer failure just to jazz things up a bit. I'm going out to sell plasma later. Good times!

Jane, I am pretty fast, yes. But I also can happily knit for hours and hours and hours. So I can turn out a pair of socks in a weekend, easily. Oh, and hi! Nice to see you. :-)

Urbanhippiemama, I hope it's just a blogging season, as you say. Heaven knows I have very little to say for myself lately. Oh except for telling people how much money just magically flew out of my wallet. Ouch.

Jennifer, thanks! I have to mail the socks to my dad. And I have other socks to mail, too.

HOW do you make socks?! I'm jealous of your skillz. I've been knitting 6 years now, and I'm just beginning to get brave enough to try something other than a dish towel or a scarf. Is it really hard? I want to learn to cable this year too!
