Four and One

I met up with my friend today and started clearing out the space I'll be living in. Four bags to Good Will and one bag of trash.

It's a good start.

It's going to be okay.

The folks I'll be living with will be home in a few weeks and once they get home, more progress.

I am scared but also happy. How? Why? Because although I will be living rent-free, I know I can earn my keep by helping them clear out their place.

I am scared, but it also feels right. It benefits me, but it also benefits them.

It's going to be okay.

How are you?

Sad. An elderly friend moved her pill popping daughter from another state to try to help her get clean, and have a good support system. The daughter commited suicide. Mom found her..As a Mom, I teeter on the edge just thinking of it.
I admire the strength you muster up.
I don't blog, I rarely comment, so I am just anonymous..

Symbiosis is a good thing. Sometimes the way changes work in peoples' lives and circumstances is so right on, it's ... cosmic!

While sorting through rooms of stuff, you will discover a long lost manuscript. The world will clammer to purchase it. To show their appreciation the people of the house will give you 25% of the sale value. You will then buy a lovely house and live happily ever after.

I'm doing all right, but that's just because life is easy right now. You're doing much better, because your life is rough and you are still OK, still pressing forward.

You are tremendous, Nina, and don't ever doubt it.

I'm intrigued by the word "house" instead of "apartment" in these posts about your new living arrangements. I know that nabe, and there are some nice houses!

Also, you can come live with me any time you want, if you want to help clean out all my years of accumulated crap!

So so happy for you that things are beginning to fall into place. I still haven't heard from the guy about tomorrow, but I'm heeding your advice and waiting it out.

Have a good weekend, sweets!
